Under Axle Weighing Systems have been around since the 50's. To weigh a large aircraft or large jet, you simply locate jacks under each axle jack point, mount specialized weighing cells on the jacks and then jack the aircraft. UAWS is the same thing, just shortened for easy writing.

It currently operates in the large jet weighing market for both wing jack, and UAWS Under Axle Weighing Systems for large jets.
